Solid Contact is Key!

• Use the three-point rule – always have three points of contact – two hands and a foot or two feet and a hand – with the vehicle when exiting, entering, climbing up or down
• When walking on your trailer or cargo, watch for the edge! Don’t take a step unless you know where the edge is located
• Never jump from the vehicle of dock
• Wear Gloves and slip-resistant shoes
• Stay alert when walking on the trailer or vargo – watch for protruding objects that are easy to trip over, spills that make it slippery and other hazards that could contribute to a fall
